Pro-Human Content Is About to Make a Comeback

We’re entering an era where content is everywhere, and the noise is overwhelming.

AI can generate millions of blog posts, videos, and clips in a day.

And yet, no matter how good it looks, most of it feels… hollow. That’s because AI cannot live. It cannot struggle, fail, create, love, or make tradeoffs. It cannot be human. And that’s why pro-human content that emerges from a real life being lived is about to surge in value.

What makes content human?

Human content is inseparable from the creator’s life. It’s not just “made by a person”; it is the person in motion. Every paragraph, every video, every tweet carries proof of work, proof of experience, and proof of identity.

For example, when Elon Musk talks about building SpaceX or Tesla, you aren’t just hearing a story. You’re witnessing someone who has lived it, struggled through the impossible, and emerged on the other side. Even if you don’t personally relate to rockets or electric cars, you feel the stakes, the decisions, the tension, and it is real. That’s proof-of-experience, and that’s why people pay attention.

The same principle applies to smaller scales. When I share something personal like moments from my marriage or behind-the-scenes footage of me learning guitar, you are seeing a slice of a life no one else has.

My life is a combination of choices and experiences unique to me: playing guitar after a full day of work, going to the gym, running a company, navigating personal relationships, and having studied health and never practiced it professionally. No AI or formula can replicate that.

Pro-human content is not defined by format; it’s defined by life lived

It doesn’t matter if it’s a vlog, a personal essay, a live stream, or a tutorial. What makes it pro-human is that it comes with the weight of experience. They’re compelling because they are one-of-one. A live guitar session I post on Sunday matters because it is me, in that moment, sharing something real.

Steven Bartlett understands this intuitively. He flies fans to experience a workday with him. He sends signed books and personal merchandise. He invites them into his world. That’s why podcasts and behind-the-scenes content resonate. Fans want access to lives they cannot live themselves, and the content is valuable because the creator’s life cannot be replicated.

Even if someone uses AI to try to mimic these experiences, the result will fall flat. Ten AI-generated humans in a tiger cage will never create the tension and stakes of ten actual humans in a cage with a tiger. AI cannot live, feel, or fail. The human element, i.e., the unpredictability, the mistakes, the victories, is irreplaceable.

Why pro-human content is economically valuable

Fans pay for experiences and insights they can’t get elsewhere. They pay because the content is one-in-N. Biographies sell because the story is singular. Live streams convert because they are raw and unrepeatable. Behind-the-scenes videos build loyalty because they reveal a perspective only the creator can offer.

Pro-human content works because fans are human. They are drawn to the struggle, the successes, the tradeoffs, and even the mundane moments. My followers might watch me play guitar, write, or talk about my marriage, not because it’s perfect content, but because it’s authentically me. That authenticity is scarcity, and scarcity is value.

AI is a tool

AI can assist creators: writing, editing, formatting, and even suggesting ideas. But AI cannot replace the lived experience, the perspective, or the vulnerability. Pro-human content requires a human life behind it. Alex Hormozi puts it bluntly: don’t talk about doing great things, go do them, then talk about them. AI cannot “go do things.” It can only report or polish.

Everything can be AI-assisted, but the content itself must come from life lived. Your business decisions, your studio sessions, your unique combination of skills, failures, and quirks are what give content its value.

The AI era makes human content even more important

As AI scales, the fake will outnumber the real. People’s skepticism will rise. Every new post, video, or article will be met with a raised eyebrow. In that landscape, human creators who share real, lived experiences will stand out because they cannot be replicated.

The more AI dominates, the more human content will be a refuge for authenticity. Fans will seek out creators who are willing to be vulnerable, share their struggles, and offer insights that only come from living a unique life.

How to Start Creating Pro-Human Content Today

1. Document Your Life, Don’t Script It

Vlogs, BTS, and live streams are powerful because they show life as it happens. Film your day, your creative process, your mistakes. People respond to authenticity, not perfection.

2. Share Unique Experiences

Even small personal events matter. Talk about your hobbies or quirky routines. Your perspective is inherently valuable because no one else has lived your life.

3. Use AI as an Assistant, Not the Creator

Let AI help with editing, formatting, or idea generation, but the story, perspective, and decisions should come from you. If your content isn’t rooted in your experience, it isn’t pro-human.

4. Offer Exclusive Access

Invite fans into your world. Like Steven Bartlett flying fans in for BTS experiences or sending personalized merch, small gestures that show your life is real and tangible make a huge difference.

5. Teach, Entertain, or Inspire

Content must trigger emotion, curiosity, or learning. Whether it’s a tutorial, a personal essay, or a live demo, make sure there’s a takeaway that only you could provide.

6. Capture Proof of Work

Show evidence of your experiences, whether it’s your studio setup, a performance, a pitch meeting, or a project milestone. Proof that this content is grounded in a life actually lived is what fans can’t replicate.

7. Be Vulnerable

Share failures, tradeoffs, thought processes, and personal insights. Emotional honesty cannot be faked. Vulnerability is the ultimate scarcity in a world full of AI-generated polish.

All content can be copied. Every idea can be simulated. Every format can be replicated. But the creator cannot. That is why pro-human content will always hold value. The more AI dominates the landscape, the more lived experience, emotional vulnerability, and unpredictability will become the defining currency of meaningful content.
